“We are committed to constantly improve your experience in the game, and this begins with ensuring a positive and fair environment free of noxious players willingly violating the rules.” Ubisoft also said in the blog post, “We will take all steps necessary to track down cheaters and make sure they cannot spoil your enjoyment of the game.”

Ubisoft Massive has also revealed that last month they received their biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date; actions were taken against over 30,000 accounts, including 3,800 permanent bans. Players who are caught using third-party cheat engines will now receive permanent bans on their first offense.

Ubisoft has no official start date to this permanent ban. However, they did state that all players will be notified when the new policy is in effect. In related news, The Division will be seeing a film adaptation with the movie star, Jake Gyllenhaal as the main lead. No writer or director has been attached to the film yet, but this is an actual movie planned for theaters.
