E3 is upon us and we’ve seen some fantastic games revealed during the last few conferences. Ubisoft has had a great conference and has announced a brand new game called Steep.
Steep is an extreme sports game that will allow players to take part in adrenaline inducing snow-based sports such as skiing, snowboarding, flying with wingsuits, and paragliding. Players will be able to pull off amazing stunts whilst defying gravity and cheating death. The game will have a large focus on multiplayer and gamers will be able to share videos, challenges, wipe-outs, and stunts.
Steep will feature a massive open world partially set in the alps in the intersection of Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France. Players can zoom over the map and select drop zones to take on challenges as well as fast travel. In the demo, we saw an amazing wingsuit challenge which included breakneck speeds and crazy bails.
When you find a great area that features great terrain, the mountain view will track where you’ve been and sop you can re-try the track or watch your run and share what you’ve done and challenge others to do better. Players can customize their characters with different masks and helmets so you can stand out from the crowd.
Steep is due to be released this December for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you ready to hit the slopes?
