Kicking off the three additional episodes added on to Minecraft: Story Mode, episode 6 continues the story of the enchanted flint and steel the gang found in episode 5. Called, “A Portal to Mystery,” Telltale’s latest puts players face-to-face with the mysterious White Pumpkin.
“Jesse and crew land themselves in another strange new world – one completely overrun by zombies,” the episode’s description reads.
All invited to a mansion that would make any horror-film proud, Jesse and a whole group of other adventurers are plunged into a murder mystery. And as anyone should expect when stuck in a spooky mansion, the killer is one of them. Giving a fun nod to the Minecraft community though, the additional cast is made up of YouTube personalities Stampy Cat, Stacy Plays, DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart), LDShadowLady, and CaptainSparklez.
Minecraft: Story Mode wrapped up its fifth and final episode of its first season pass back in March. “A Portal to Mystery” releases tomorrow, June 7, and starts off the last three episodes, all included in the Adventurer’s Pass. The Pass is available now for $14.99, or each episode can also be purchased individually for $4.99, as long as players have at least Episode 1.
