Uncharted 4: How to Solve the Pirate Sigil Puzzle in Chapter 10

uncharted 4, vinyl

Uncharted 4 has a bit of an annoying puzzle for you if you don’t have much patience and don’t care for matching shapes. In Chapter 10, you’ll reach a puzzle that will have you correctly placing the Libertalia pirate founders’ sigils in certain positions to move the gears and unlock the next set. It will have you guessing, fact-checking using their portraits, and phoning in help from Sam. Sure, you could do all that, take notes in Nathan’s journal, keep checking those, and try things that way, or you could just check out the solutions below.

The first one is simple as it’s just two sigils so there aren’t that many combinations to make before you get it right. This is what it ends up looking like, though:

The next is when you’ll need to stop relying on luck and would have to head over to the portraits to find the squares with stars on them. Those are the clues for which way the sigils should be placed. Here’s what that one should look like in the end:

Then they’ll ask you to do it again, and here’s the result:

And, finally, this last time will have you guessing which of two unknown ones go in which place. Your journal is a bit of a mess about it, but don’t worry, we have you covered:
