In order to really bring the pain in Doom you’ll need to upgrade your weapons. Here’s how to get weapon upgrade points to do so.
Your weapons can be upgraded through bolstering the mods that are available to each of them. In order to do so, however, the game requires you to grab weapon upgrade points. These can be earned through completing challenges for each mission in the game.
To find out what your challenges are during each mission of the game, you’ll need to go to the in-game menu by hitting either the touchpad on PS4 or the Views button (the one with two screens on it) on Xbox One. Once you’ve done this, you should see that just on the right-hand side of the screen where you see your map, there should be a number of challenges listed. All you have to do is complete each one of these to earn a weapon upgrade point. Therefore, completing all three challenges on a mission can bring you in three weapon upgrade points. Remember though, each mission will have different challenges so be sure to check out what you need to do to earn the points at the start of each mission.
