Capcom has announced the localization of the sixth Ace Attorney game, called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice in the west. The game will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS exclusively for purchase digitally on the eShop in September, 2016.
Spirit of Justice puts players in the shoes of Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice, as they tackle cases in different areas of the world. Phoenix is in the Kingdom of Khura’ in, where Seances and Royal Priestesses’ Insight allow the court to see the final moments of a victims life. The “Divination Seance” will be a new gameplay mechanic that requires players to spot the contradictions and discrepancies between what is shown in the seance, and what is shown in the Royal Priestesses Insight. At the same time, Apollo will be holding down the fort and tackling his own case at the Wright Anything Agency in Los Angeles.
The new game will also see investigative techniques from previous games return, as well as plenty of familiar faces. Spirit of Justice will launch this September, and cost $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Take a look at the first English trailer down below.
