As part of the statement on the Sony Computer Entertainment Interactive website, Sony revealed that the new division will be named ForwardWorks and will begin operations as of April 1, 2016.

The statement then goes on to give some information regarding the outline of ForwardWorks, as well as the Directors in Charge and Members of the Board. Andrew House, President of Sony Computer Entertainment is listed as a Member of the Board.
