The bunker in The Witness is located behind the jungle and the mountain, just on the coast. The entrance is blocked by a sliding door with a puzzle on the front. It follows the same rule as a number of the puzzles on the island. There are black and white squares on the puzzle and all you have to do is separate the colors. See the solution for the door below.
Once inside, you will see two sets of puzzles on the wall – one with 5 and one with 4. Starting at the far left work your way though them. Once again, you need to separate the colors but here there are far more colors than just black and white. They aren’t too challenging though. For help, see the solutions below.
Solving these puzzles will allow you to open the door to the laboratory looking area to the right where the rules change slightly.
Once you have solved the simple puzzle to open the door you will see three puzzles. Here the aim is, once again, to separate the colors, but the colors you see when stood in front of the puzzle are not the true colors. You need to stand behind one of the colored pieces of glass to reveal the true colors. Essentially, the glass acts like a truth filter, for the puzzles. Be warned – the chain of puzzles goes back one if you fail a puzzle.
The first one can be solved by standing outside the room, behind the yellow window. The second is solved by standing behind the blue glass to the side of the puzzle. Finally, for the third you need to stand behind the yellow window, looking through the blue glass. It can be difficult to see clearly so if you need help see the solutions below.
Next, head up the stairs and you will see a pink fluorescent room with two puzzles on the wall and what looks like a switch off to the right.
First things first, use the switch to open up the room. Solving the simple puzzle to the right of the switch will collapse the walls, making it possible to solve the puzzle nearest the switch. Then, close the room up again by moving the switch back to its original position. Now, the next puzzle can be solved. For the solutions to them, see below.
Now, to get to the final part of the puzzle head down to the corridor to the left and down the stairs at the end. Go inside the dodgy looking red room and jump on the elevator at the far side.
Here, the puzzle changes depending on the color of light in the room it stops at. Same rules apply, separate the colors each time the elevator stops. For one puzzle you cannot see the line moving so just trust that it is. Keep going till you reach the top. Here are the solutions to the elevator puzzles:
Step outside the elevator and you will see a simple puzzle. As with the other lasers, solve it and the laser will be activated and a gold trophy will pop.
