Continuing the 20th anniversary of Pokemon celebrations, Nintendo has announced that the next Nintendo Direct will focus solely on Pokemon.
The news came from the official Nintendo Twitter account that stated that a ‘Pokemon Direct’ will be coming on Feb. 26.

Starting at 7am PT this Friday, the show can be seen live on the Nintendo Direct website or on Twitch, with replays available shortly after the event finishes.
However, the direct is likely to be a short one. A translation of the same tweet from Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account suggests that it will be ‘about five minutes of short video.’
Nintendo has not released any information on the content of the direct but the new versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow will probably make an appearance. Maybe we will hear more about Pokemon Go or the rumoured new Pokemon Z game.
The new Pokemon Direct will be at 7am PT, this Friday, Feb. 26.
