Final Fantasy XV’s newest Active Time Report aired tonight on the official YouTube channel of Square Enix, and one of the things discussed was a firm date for the upcoming March event for the game. The event will announce the final release date for the game, and discuss a tech demo that will be available to players before the game’s launch.

The event – titled Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV- will be held on March 30 at 7 PM PST at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The event will also be streamed across the world on YouTube and Twitch. During tonight’s stream Hajime Tabata the director of the game talked about how the team had decided on one large broadcasted event, rather than multiple smaller ones around the world. They want all regions of the world to receive the new information on the game simultaneously.

It seems the event will be hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys of Kinda Funny. An official website for the event has since opened promising tickets to the event, that will be available in just over five days.

Tonight’s Active Time Report also talked about the role of Final Fantasy XV’s main antagonists, the Niflheim Empire. We also got a glimpse at some new battle footage and magic in action. Are you excited for the release date of Final Fantasy XV to finally be announced. Are you going to try and attend the event or will you be watching from home.
