Bungie, Please Make These Brilliant Destiny Fireteam Emblems a Reality

Destiny squad goals.

Destiny Fireteam Emblem

A Reddit user by the name of schnuck shared with the Destiny world today his/her mock-ups of what a group/team emblem on Destiny could look like… and it’s awesome. Made in collaboration with fellow users craigvhs and horizon_xiv, these fireteam (or whatever you want to call them) emblems come together to create a cool picture when used by everyone on the team. Here, have a look:

What else can you say but wow. Really nice work schnuck! There are a bunch of other Destiny fireteam emblem mock-ups that you can see by visiting the original Reddit post, including ones for other subclasses and factions such as Dead Orbit.

Now a lot of you might be wondering how this could even be possible. Issues such as determining which piece of the picture you receive, and the order of which people join (messing up the picture), dampen the feasibility of something like this. Another Reddit user by the name of PreheatedLime13 offers what seems like a feasible solution:

I really like this idea! I would suggest that instead of having 6 different emblems, you get awarded 1 emblem, that will be displayed as the whole picture in your emblem when alone. If you sync in orbit with 5 other with the emblem equipped, it auto-assigns you a portion of the emblem depending on your appearance in the fireteam list!

None of us here are game developers at Twinfinite, so we won’t even begin to speculate how easy or difficult that would be but hey, it certainly sounds like that could work! It would be great if Bungie did ever implement something like this (who wouldn’t want to head out to a raid with their squad in style), but hopefully at least those responsible for this awesome idea at least get a shout out via one of Bungie’s Weekly Updates. We’ll keep our fingers crossed!
