Bravely Second: End Layer’s localization to the west was in question for a while, but last year Nintendo confirmed that it would indeed be making its way to both Europe and North America in 2016. We’ve known for months now that it would be hitting the former in February, but North American audiences were left hanging with a vague “TBA 2016” until today.
During the Nintendo RPG Showcase event being held on the west coast today, Nintendo of America finally revealed that the game would be hitting North American shelves on Apr. 15. Not only that, but similar to Bravely Default, we will also be getting a 10-hour demo for Bravely Second, where bonuses earned within will carry over to the full game. A release date for the demo has not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed that it will launch prior to the full game, and features a different story to the full game with new jobs to try out.
Finally, there’s the newly announced Collector’s Edition for North America. This bundle will include a 10-track soundtrack sample CD as well as a 250-page art book. The Collector’s Edition will be available for $69.99, and will be launching alongside the standard edition on Apr. 15.
Bravely Second: End Layer will be launching exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS, and is just one of many stellar exclusives Nintendo has got lined up for 2016.
