Freelancer
What it is: Freelancer is your starting class in Final Fantasy Explorers. Like other starting Final Fantasy jobs or the Onion Knight, the Freelancer is a jack of all trades but master of none. It can use many abilities and weapons/equipment, but isn’t particularly proficient in any of it.

Knight
What it is: The Knight is a defensive tank class in Final Fantasy Explorers with good offensive skills as well. Focusing on abilities that draw attention away from enemies and shielding itself from harm.

Monk
What it is: Monks specialize in hand to hand fighting. What they lack in defense, the make up for in high damage attacks focusing on blunt force trauma.

What it is: White Mage is your bread and butter healer. Keep your party members alive using healing and restorative spells.

What it is: Black Mages are the ultimate offensive spell casters of Final Fantasy Explorers.

Thief
What it is: The Thief in Final Fantasy Explorers focuses on speed, surprise attacks and, of course, stealing from the enemy.

Ninja
What it is: Ninjas combine speed, offensive prowess, and evasion to give their enemies fits.

Bard

Dragoon

Beastmaster
What it is: Beastmasters can use slow but powerful axe abilities and call on enemies to fight with them.

Paladin
What it is: Paladins are slow moving tanking experts designed to take damage and protect allies.

Dark Knight
What it is: Dark Knights are offensive specialists that use Scythes to do massive damage.

Red Mage
What it is: Red Mages are spellswords that can use both sword and magic abilities.

Machinist
What it is: Machinsts, like Rangers, use long range gun attacks to damage enemies and can enhance their own power as well.

Samurai
What it is: Samurai was a DLC class in the Japanese version but is available for free in the United States release of Final Fantasy Explorers. They use Katanas to deal high amounts of damage.
How to Unlock: Collect 20% of all equipment.
Blue Mage
What it is: Blue Mage was a DLC class in the Japanese version but is available for free in the United States release of Final Fantasy Explorers. Blue Mages can learn the abilities of their enemies and fill many different types of roles.
How to Unlock: Kill 750 enemies.
