How to Share Games on PS4
Games can be costly, especially if you’re trying to keep up with each and every one of the latest releases to hit the PS4 or Xbox One (or perhaps both). As such, some players or family members have been hoping to share digital games with one another on PS4.
In order to share your digital games library with other users, all you need to do is log into the PS4 system that they are using with your account. When asked whether or not this is your primary PS4 system, you want to Activate it as the primary console. This will mean that any other accounts on your own system will no longer be able to play your games, though. Only one PS4 can be activated as the primary console for any one account at any time.
It’s worth noting, however, that this can be changed at any time by jumping into the Settings option and selecting the Account Management option. From here, select the Primary PS4 option and either enable or disable it depending on what you want to do.
Once it’s been enabled as the primary system for your account, download any games you’d like from your Purchased section of your Library. As soon as these are downloading, you can sign out and sign back in as another player. When the games have finished downloading, you’ll be able to boot them up and reap the rewards of sharing your digital games on each other’s consoles. If you want to get your friends’ games library, too, simply get them to log in and do the same on your system.
When it comes to sharing your physical copies, you just have to give your friend or family member your disc. Pop it in their console and they’re all set to go.
