How to Play Arcade Multiplayer & What It Is in Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 brings the franchise to the rocky mountain ranges and open terrain of Montana, though still keeps the bombastic action and gun-toting fanatics. The latest entry brings an updated gameplay mode called Arcade.
Arcade mode allows players to create playable custom maps and missions using assets from Far Cry 5 and other Ubisoft games, such as Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The map editor has been featured in Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, but in limited capacities. Far Cry 5’s edition allows single-player, cooperative, and competitive maps.
There are multiple ways to access Arcade mode. The quickest method is to press the Start/Options button, scroll over to the Multiplayer tab in the menu with the RB/R1 shoulder buttons, and select Arcade. The other two ways to access the mode in-game is by interacting with posters randomly placed around the world or through the arcade machines located in bars.
Pick a map or mission in the menu and that is it. Unless you already have a friend playing co-op with you from the campaign, you can invite players from your friends list for cooperative or competitive action.
