Lines from the ever-cheery Moogle in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT such as “finish that foe, kupo!” and “block bravery attacks by blocking, kupo!” might be amusing at first, but it can get annoying for some players after they have spent hours on end playing. Aside from continually giving a few tips in-game, the Moogle will also congratulate you and shout “kupo!” whenever you get new skills, voice lines, and other rewards. Thankfully, there’s a way you can mute the Moogle during and outside of battles.

In Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, you can either mute the Moogle completely or solely during battles. Upon booting up Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, go to the game’s mode selection and enter the sound settings. From here, you have two options to disable the Moogle’s commentary.

You can turn off “System Voice” in the sound settings to mute the Moogle’s voice during and outside of combat. Alternatively, you can opt to only disable the Moogle’s voice during combat by going to the support settings and disabling “Moogle Advice.” If you ever find the game too quiet without the cheery Moogle commentator, you can simply go to the options setting and re-enable the commentary.
