Super Mario Odyssey: How to Go Into First-Person View

A better look at what's around you.

How to Go Into First-Person View in Super Mario Odyssey

Recommended Videos

There’s a lot to see and do in the world of Super Mario Odyssey. While you can go through the game and have fun simply by walking around normally, it can also be a good idea to stop every once in a while to observe your surroundings by looking at the world through the game’s first-person view.

To do this, simply press in the R3 button by pushing in the right analog stick on your Joy-Con or pro controller. First-person view will allow you to look at your surroundings in first-person view, and it might even give you a better look at whatever’s around you. By doing this, you could also potentially notice collectibles or hidden items that you didn’t see before, or find areas that you’ve yet to explore. If you’re ever unsure of what to do next, use first-person view to check out your surroundings before making your next move.
