Young kids who take their first dive into the video game world may not be accustomed to the beast of a controller that is the DualShock 4, at least for the first few times. PlayStation has come up with a low-cost solution for the younger gamers out there, a solution that is more comfortable and perfect for two-player experiences like Little Big Planet or Knack 2.
I would like to introduce to you the Mini Wired Gamepad for PlayStation 4, which is officially licensed by the way. The miniature controller does not do everything that the DualShock 4 does but it is about 40% smaller, has a flatter design, and has a 10ft controller cable that should make it easy to play some couch co-op.
The blue Mini Wired Gamepad will cost $29.99 USD/$39.99 CAD and is set to launch in North America and Canada this holiday season.
