Destiny 2 was released earlier this month and was arguably one of the most anticipated games of the year. The original game had an immense amount of hype behind it but received a somewhat mixed reception upon release. Destiny 2 has been met with a much stronger response from gamers and critics and it seems this one takes what was good from the first game and expands upon it. As a result, the game is spending a second week atop the UK game charts.
Two big releases from the past week may have failed to take Destiny 2’s spot but have still entered the top five. NBA 2K18 is in second place and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is in third. Fallout 4 is in fourth and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is in fifth. The top 20 are as follows:
- Destiny 2
- NBA 2K18
- Pro Evolution Soccer
- Fallout 4
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
- Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Metroid: Samus Returns
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Forza Horizon 3
- Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- F1 2017
- Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle
- Lego Worlds
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- FIFA 17
- Dishonored 2
This coming week will see the release of Project CARS 2, will it be popular enough to knock Destiny 2 from the top spot?
