There are quite a few exotic weapons in Destiny 2, all of which offer some neat perks that you can put to use while building your legend. Not all are obtained the same way, but below you’ll find each and every weapon (along with their perks) as well as how to get each one that we’ve found so far.

Do note that we will be updating this guide as we play more of the game and will be sure to make note of where to obtain each and every single one so you can deck out your armory.

How to Get All Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2

Sweet Business (Auto Rifle) Kinetic – Can be obtained from an exotic engram or as a reward for most activities. Also can be obtained from Xur. 

Payday – Large magazine, increased accuracy when firing from the hip.

Business Time – Holding trigger boosts range and rate of fire. Automatically loads ammo pickups into the magazine.

Vigilance Wing (Pulse Rifle) Kinetic

Harsh Truths – Fires 5-round bursts. Gain increased movement speed and health regeneration when a nearby ally is killed.

Sturm (Hand Cannon) Kinetic – Can be earned by completing a specific quest detailed here.

Accomplice – Kills With this weapon fill the magazine of your equipped energy weapon (uses ammo reserves).

Storm and Distress – Kills with Drang (a legendary companion weapon to Sturm) grant bonus precision damage.

MIDA Multi-Tool (Scout Rifle) Kinetic – Can be earned by completing its specific exotic quest detailed here.

MIDA Multi-Tool – Boosts movement speed.

MIDA Radar – Radar stays active while aiming down sights.

Bonus – If you have the legendary submachine gun, MIDA Mini-Tool equipped, this exotic gains bonus benefits.

Rat King (Sidearm) Kinetic – Can be earned from its exotic quest which we guided for you here.

Rat Pack – If nearby Fireteam members have this gun equipped, it becomes stronger.

Vermin – Reloading immediately after a kill grants brief period of invisibility.

Sunshot (Hand Cannon) Solar – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Sunburn – Fires explosive rounds that highlight hit targets.

Sun Blast – Killed targets explode.

Hard Light (Auto Rifle) – Arc, Solar, and Void – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Volatile Light – Shots have no damage falloff, overpenetrate targets, and ricochet off of solid surfaces.

Arc/Solar/Void Cores – can change burn.

Riskrunner (Submachine Gun) Arc – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Arc Conductor – Taking Arc damage increases Riskrunner’s damage and your Arc resistance. Kills extend the time of this perk.

Superconductor – When Arc Conductor is active, chance to create chain lighting and get ammo back with each shot.

Skyburner’s Oath (Scout Rifle) Solar – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Slug Rifle – Fires Solar slugs that do increased damage when aiming down sights.

For the Empire – Fires full auto, does extra damage to Cabal, penetrates Phalanx Shields.

Graviton Lance (Pulse Rifle) Void – Can be obtained as a reward through the story, from an engram, or Xur. 

Black Hole – Third shot of burst rips a hole through spacetime, doing increased damage and recoil with no damage fall-off.

Cosmology – Kills cause enemies to detonate.

Fighting Lion (Grenade Launcher) Void-  Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Delayed Gratification – Grenades bounce off surfaces. Hold trigger to fire, release to detonate.

Thin the Herd – Direct hits do more damage to shielded enemies. Rapid kills against grenade-damaged enemies refill magazine.

The Wardcliff Coil (Formerly the Dubious Volley) Arc Rocket Launcher – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Mad Scientist – This weapon fires a volley of rockets.

Mechanized Autoloader – Reloads automatically when you pick up power ammo.

Tractor Cannon  (Shotgun) Void – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Repulsor Force – This weapon fires a powerful impulse to push enemies away.

Particle Repeater – Constrains recoil for every bolt. Increases stability.

The Scientific Method – Damaging an opponent temporarily increases speed and handling.

Merciless (Fusion Rifle) Solar – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Conserve Momentum – Non-lethal hits with projectiles make this weapon charge faster until its wielder gets a kill.

Impetus – Reloading immediately after a kill increases damage.

The Prospector (Grenade Launcher) Arc – Can be obtained as a reward, from an engram, or Xur. 

Excavation – Hold down fire to fire grenades. Release trigger to detonate all grenades at once.

Full Auto – fully automatic weapon

D.A.R.C.I. (Sniper Rifle) Arc

Personal Assistant – Aiming at an enemy reveals health and other crucial info.

Target Acquired – When using Personal Assistant D.A.R.C.I. has better target acquisition and deals higher precision damage.

Legend of Acrius (Shotgun – Arc)

Shock Blast – Fires high-damage Arc energy that overpenetrates enemies.

Long March – Radar detects enemies from farther away when weapon is equipped.

Coldheart (Trace Rifle) Arc – Preorder Bonus that will be made available to everyone else as a quest in December. 

Cold Fusion – Shoots a steady cold fusion-powered laser.

Longest Winter – Does exponentially more damage the longer laser is on a single target.

As you can see, there are plenty of new exotic weapons to collect and use when you finally confront Ghaul and take back your home in Destiny 2.
