While the Destiny 2 beta on consoles ended earlier this week, the beta for PC was still slated for “late August.” Bungie has announced an exact date for the Destiny 2 on PC today in its weekly blog post.
Access to the PC beta begins on Monday, Aug. 28 for those with a Destiny 2 pre-order. The beta will be open to everyone a day later on Aug. 29 and will end on Aug. 31. The PC beta will have the same content as the beta for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, including the opening campaign mission, a cooperative strike, and two multiplayer modes.
Additionally, Bungie has released the minimum and recommended hardware specs necessary to run the beta. The studio also provided hardware that will run the beta well for those looking to upgrade parts. These requirements may change before the full game launches for PC on Oct. 24.
