Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: How to Save

How to Save Your Game in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Recommended Videos

Much like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s three games are their own separate entities. That means that each one has its own trophy lists and its own save files. Now that we no longer have to worry about buying memory cards to allow us to continue our progress in the bandicoot’s adventures, some players may be wondering how to save in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Well, turns out it’s incredibly straightforward. While you can’t save your game midway through a level, you can at any time during the level select screen by simply pressing L2.

However, please be careful when you’re choosing the slot you want to save. Pressing X on a slot will actually load that slot, rather than saving. What you want to do is press Square instead to save.

With X being assigned to loading a file, it’s easy to accidentally go to save your progress in one slot, only to load it and undo your progress. Fortunately, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy does have an autosave slot which should save you from any mistakes you could make during the process, but just double check before confirming to be safe than sorry. The autosave feature tends to save after every level that you complete, so you should never lose too much progress thanks to this.
