How to Unlock More of the Map in Prey
The Talos I space station in Prey is pretty huge and will take quite some time to explore. While you start out in Prey with a bit of the map unlocked, you’ll have to unlock more as you make your way through the game.
This isn’t something that you’ll automatically come across as part of the story, though. In fact, you can completely miss sections if you’re not careful. Therefore, what you’ll want to do is check every single computer terminal you come across on your way. Not all workstations will have a section of the map to download, but it’s worth checking every one you find anyway just in case.
On these workstations, you’ll want to check the Utilities option. You’ll find sections of Prey’s map here on some workstations which you can then download and use to get around more easily.
Currently, we haven’t found any other ways of unlocking more of the map in Prey, but if we do come across any, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
