How to Find Sacred Springs in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a game all about character stats, even more so than past entries in the series. This is because Echoes completely does away with the weapon triangle system, with combat and damage now based entirely on the differences between units’ stats. Because of this, you’ll want to get every advantage and stat boost you possibly can, that’s where Sacred Springs come in.

These unique fountains are incredibly useful, as each one allows you to boost the given stat on any of your units permanently. Sacred Springs are only found in dungeons, and there’s at least two in every one you explore. Each spring will only affect one stat, or it can also boost HP or give your unit experience. The catch, of course, is that each spring can only be used 2-3 times before they’re permanently dry. Because of this, you’ll want to choose carefully which units use them, and only boost the ones you’re really interested in developing.

Early dungeons in Fire Emblem Echoes usually place the Sacred Springs near or behind the Mila Shrine you can find, but later dungeons can have them scattered around. It’s definitely in your best interest to fully explore each and every dungeon, however, as the stat boosts can be invaluable, along with the treasure you’re able to find.

That’s all you need to know about Sacred Springs in the game. For more tips and guides on Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, make sure to check out our growing wiki.
