Yooka-Laylee: How to Save

How to Save Your Game in Yooka-Laylee

Recommended Videos

When you need to take a break from collecting Pagies and putting a stop to Capital B in Yooka-Laylee, you’ll want to ensure you save your game so you don’t lose any progress.

Fortunately, doing so is pretty straightforward in Yooka-Laylee. The game utilizes an auto-save feature that activates pretty much every time you pick up a Pagie. You’ll see the little disk character appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, indicating that the game is saving.

However, when you leave one of the Grand Tomes or exit to the main menu from the Hivory Towers hub world in Yooka-Laylee, the game will also auto-save then, too.

It’s worth noting, however, that there’s no manual option in the game, so you will always have to rely on the auto-save to keep track of your progress. If you’re worried that the game hasn’t saved your progress, just make sure you wait until you see the disk icon appear and disappear after grabbing a Pagie or any other collectible.

That’s all you need to know to record your progress in Yooka-Laylee. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
