Yooka-Laylee Glitterglaze Glacier: Which Is the Real Play Coin?

Finding the Real Play Coin in Glitterglaze Glacier in Yooka-Laylee

Recommended Videos

When you are out exploring the colorful and wacky world of Yooka-Laylee one of the collectible items you will want to grab are called Play Coins. These pixilated items are used in conjunction with Rextro and his arcade machines to try out pseudo mini-games within the world. While there are one of these arcade cabinets in each level, Glitterglaze Glacier is a bit tricky as there a bunch of fake Play Coins you can find. This can make discovering the real Play Coin annoying if you don’t know where to look, but thankfully we have your back.

To find this Play Coin, players will need to first unlock Yooka-Laylee’s Rextro in the castle by expanding the Glitterglaze Glacier Grand Tome. From Rextro look for a group of vases at the top of the room and head in this direction until you enter a room full of Play Coins moving in sync with one another. Do not touch any of them, as you’ll be kicked out of the room once if you grab the wrong one regardless. The Play Coin you are looking for is on your right and will be moving out of sync and spinning in the opposite direction of the other coins. Cautiously grab this coin to receive your reward so you can continue your journey in this retro-styled platformer.
