How to Get the Green Tunic – Zelda Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

The Green Tunic is the classic outfit for Link, but with his new blue garb being featured so prominently in Breath of the Wild’s marketing material, it’s easy to think that the old outfit might not be in the game. Thankfully, that’s not the case at all. There are a few ways to get the iconic garb for Link, and the easiest way is to use your amiibo.

The amiibo for Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and the classic Link will give you the Green Tunic that was featured in those respective games. However, there is also a green piece of garb that can be obtained within the game without the need for any amiibo at all. This will require quite a bit of effort on your part, as you’ll need to find and solve all 120 Shrine puzzles in Breath of the Wild before you can get your hands on it. But hey, the fashion is worth it, right?

That’s what you’ll need to do if you want the classic Green Tunic in Breath of the Wild. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
