How to Change Items – Zelda Breath of the Wild
With Link busy exploring a large open world in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, items carry a more significant role than ever before in the series. Yes, you had items in previous games, but you didn’t use a random log for crafting or attacking, for example. As such, there’s a good chance that you’re going to need to change items a lot in the game. Don’t worry, though, we’ve got you covered.
To change items, all you need to do is press and hold up on the d-pad. This can be done at any time once your game is loaded up. This should then open up your items menu, which you can use the right stick to scroll left and right through. Once you’ve found the item you want, simply stop scrolling and the item will be assigned to your quick use slot. Now all you need to do to actually use the item is to press the L button.
