Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Save Your Game

Wouldn't want to lose all that Pathfinder progress now.

How to Save Your Game in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Like most modern video games, Mass Effect Andromeda features an auto-save system along with a way to allow you to manually save your progress. After all, no one wants to be forced to beat an entire game in one sitting without any way of saving and stopping.

To save your game, simply bring up your main menu and direct your left analog stick upwards to highlight the ‘Save’ option. Hit the A button (or X if you’re on PS4) to select it, and then choose a save slot to save in. Do note that you can’t save your game during priority missions or in the middle of crucial story events. Once you’ve completed your objective, you’ll be able to save normally again. The game also sports an auto-save system and checkpoints, so even if you happen to die without saving, you shouldn’t lose too much in-game progress. Even so, you’ll still to save your data often just to be safe.
