How to Call Your Horse – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

With such a large open world for players to explore, it’s likely that you won’t want to do all your Zelda: Breath of the Wild exploration on your feet. Fortunately, Link can hop onto the back of a horse to get around even faster. Of course, they’re not just going to magic up in front of you when you need them. Instead, you’ll need to call your horse.

To call your horse in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, all you need to do is press down on the d-pad. It’s worth noting, though, that to call your horse and for it to actually work, it has to be nearby. Don’t bother trying if you left it on the other side of the map, it simply won’t work.

Currently, we haven’t found another way you can call your horse and have it appear at your side if you do happen to have left it far away. However, if we find out a method of doing this in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we’ll be sure to update this guide and share the info with you.
