SINoALICE is a New Mobile Game From Square Enix and Yoko Taro

That artwork though.

Square Enix continues their surge into the mobile market by announcing a new mobile game titled SINoALICE. However, this one actually looks quite a bit more interesting because of its creative director, Yoko Taro, who’s well-known for his work on the Drakengard series and NIER. You can check out the debut trailer down below.

The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay at all, but it does give us a look at some of the character artwork, which looks pretty darn gorgeous. The game’s official website is also open, and users can now pre-register for the game. Players will also receive in-game bonuses depending on how many pre-registrations the game receives. From the looks of the trailer, it looks like it’ll be a fantasy game. Taro has mentioned that before NieR: Automata became a thing, he had considered making a NIER mobile game with Farmville elements. Maybe SINoALICE borrows from that scrapped idea.

SINoALICE is set to be released for Android and iOS devices. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes our way.
