NieR: Automata was originally announced back at E3 2015, at Square Enix’s press conference. The game will have players take control of the android 2B as she and other robots attempt to take back earth from other robots who have colonized the place. Returning characters like Emil, Devola, and Popola will also make an appearance in the sequel. There’s already a playable demo up available on the PSN store for those who have yet to try out the new and polished combat system.
NieR: Automata is set to be released for the PS4 on February 23 in Japan, and on March 7 in North America. The game will also be getting a PC port some time later this year. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
