Kira Buckland as 2B
Nier: Automata’s English Voice Actor Cast
Taking on the role as NieR: Automata’s lead protagonist is Kira Buckland. She’s best known for her voice work as the extremely mean Hiyoko Saionji in Danganronpa 2, as well as Bloody Marie in Skullgirls. Buckland has also been featured in more recent games like Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice and Fire Emblem Heroes where she voiced Trucy Wright and Eirika respectively.
Her character in NieR: Automata, 2B, is a largely emotionless and stoic android who focuses solely on her mission and what needs to be done.
Kyle McCarley as 9S
Nier: Automata’s English Voice Actor Cast
Actor Kyle McCarley hasn’t been in too many video games, but anime fans should recognize his voice pretty easily. He voices Mikazuki in Mobile Suit Gundam, and Mark in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. He also voiced Zeroken in the more recent Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. In NieR: Automata, he takes on the role of 9S.
9S is a YoRHa scanner android who specializes in recon work and hacking. While he might not be the most proficient with swords and other weapons, he more than makes up for it with his powerful hacking abilities.
Cherami Leigh as A2
Nier: Automata’s English Voice Actor Cast
Cherami Leigh has been in a ton of anime series and movies including Psycho-Pass, Sword Art Online, Sailor Moon, and One Piece. She’s probably best known for her English dub of Asuna in Sword Art Online. Leigh also voices Fevrier in Street Fighter V, and will be taking on the role of Makoto Nojima in the upcoming JRPG Persona 5.
Leigh voices A2 in NieR: Automata, a rogue YoRHa unit who seems to oppose the androids, as well as 2B and 9S themselves. However, her role in the story is more involved than you might initially think.
Greg Chun as Adam

Greg Chun isn’t just an actor, he’s also a composer and music producer who’s worked on projects like Saturday Night Live and even the MTV Awards. In the voice acting department, he’s provided his talents to games like Diablo III, Hearthstone, Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Division.
Chun voices Adam in NieR: Automata. Adam is a machine lifeform created by the aliens, and he also serves as one of the primary antagonists in the game.
Ray Chase as Eve

Fans of Final Fantasy XV will recognize Ray Chase as the voice of lead character Noctis. Chase is also known for his voice work as Edgar in World of Final Fantasy and Artorius in the more recent Tales of Berseria. Outside of video games, Chase lends his vocal talents to popular anime series like One-Punch Man and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
In NieR: Automata, Chase takes on the role of Eve, who is also the brother of Adam. Like Adam, he’s a machine lifeform who opposes the androids and our main characters.
Julie Ann Taylor as Emil

Julie Ann Taylor is probably best known for her fantastic voice work as Emil from the original NieR. Taylor has also voiced Cordelia and Selena in Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. In addition to that, she’s been in a ton of anime series as well, including Love Hina and Code Geass.
Taylor reprises her role as Emil in NieR: Automata. Though Emil isn’t a main character this time around, there are a lot of cool throwbacks and references that fans will be pleased with.
Alexis Tipton as Pascal

Tipton hasn’t been in too many video games either, but she does have quite a few notable roles in major anime series. She’s lent her voice to Mina in Attack of Titan, Komaru Naegi in the Danganronpa 3 anime, and Trunks in Dragon Ball Super, just to name a few. She reprises her role as Trunks in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video game.
Tipton takes on the role of Pascal in NieR: Automata. Pascal is a new character introduced in the game, and even though he is a machine lifeform, he is peaceful and serves as the likable leader of a colony full of non-hostile machines.
