Today, NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon announced via Twitter (his new favorite way to announce things) that the Injustice 2 online beta signups are now live. You can sign up for yourself here.

The signup waiver itself is pretty standard, but it’s important to note that the beta will apparently be happening on PS4 and Xbox One only. Also included is a Beta License Agreement that assumes the player “understand[s] and agree[s] that the pre-release copy and all other Materials (as defined below) provided to you are confidential or proprietary information of WB and are not intended for public release.”
In few words, that means releasing footage of the beta is an apparent no-no. Just a week and change ago, Boon revealed the May 16 release date for Injustice 2 shortly after shutting down rumors of a March release a few days prior. Earlier this week we also got a brand new trailer for the game that revealed the main villain and confirmed a few characters that had yet to be revealed.
Expect a lot more Injustice 2 details from Boon (probably from his Twitter) leading up to May 16.
