Trust Japan to come up with the most entertaining and innovative video game commercials; they’ve done it again with Gravity Rush 2. You can check out the new promotional trailer down below.
In the trailer, two girls are going about their daily business in their apartment when their house cat decides that it isn’t receiving enough attention from them. So what does it do? It shifts gravity, and starts turning everything topsy turvy, of course. The special effects are particularly impressive in the commercial, and it reaches a climax when both girls are hurled out of the house and into the sky with their gravity-shifting cat. It’s also super appropriate that one of the girls is shown writing her thesis on Newton’s laws of physics.
Gravity Rush 2 is set to be released for the PS4 on January 20. Our review will be up later this week. Will you be picking this one up on launch day? Let us know in the comments down below.
