Digimon World: Next Order was originally released on the PS Vita and will be released for the PlayStation 4 in 2017, and it seems like the PS4 version has received a serious update in graphics. Bandai Namco has released a video that showcases these differences side by side.
As shown in the video above, there are several areas of Digimon World: Next Order on PS4 that seem clearer than on the PS Vita. Players will also have a better look of what’s surrounding them with updated render distances and textures. It also looks like some areas house Digimon NPCs that were not there in the original game.
These changes can be seen as a way to address a problem of the previous Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which many players felt played like a PS Vita game on the PS4.
Digimon World: Next Order is already out for the Vita in Japan, but will hit the PS4 Feb. 26, 2017. Europe and North America will see the game release on PS4 Jan. 27, 2017 and Jan. 31, 2017, respectively
