October also had some big releases for PlayStation 4. The highly anticipated Battlefield 1 dropped on Oct. 21 and took the top-selling spot for PS4. Players also showed they were nostalgic for the realm of Tamriel and picked up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, snagging it second-place in sales. The popular Titanfall 2 came in at spot number nine, but its low placement makes more sense when considering it released much later in the month on Oct. 28.
