Gears of War 4 Live was announced today on the official Xbox Twitter account. Fan’s are invited to join the Coalition, the developers of the highly anticipated title, to check out a brand-new look at the game on Oct. 5 at 3 PM PT, a weak ahead of the game’s official launch.

Gears of War 4 takes fans into the future of the series and places them in the boots of J.D. Fenix, son of previous series protagonist Marcu Fenix. Along with Kait Diaz and Delmon “Del” Walker, J.D. will have to push against an entirely new alien threat and harsh weather conditions. You can jump into the action yourself when the game releases worldwide on Oct. 11 for the Xbox One and PC though the Play Anywhere initiative.
