Thorn is back (finally) and it comes with all of those perks we all missed, especially that Mark of the Devourer. It will be interesting to see how it plays along with the new members of the Destiny exotic club. If you’ve never had the pleasure of owning one of these, it’s a powerful hand cannon that does damage-over-time, and is an absolute nightmare in the right hands. It’s not the fastest weapon, but if you can maneuver yourself well, nobody will be able to stop you.

Gjallarhorn (Rocket Launcher)

“If there is beauty in destruction, why not also in its deliver?” – Feizel Crux

The Gjallarhorn is one of those video game weapons that needs no introduction. It is the weapon that all other exotics aspire to be, and it returns as part of Destiny: Rise of Iron’s year three. This particular exotic weapon is known for being able to burn through most threats thanks to it’s powerful Wolfpack Rounds. This weapon had been available for about a week before Destiny: Rise of Iron’s launch, as Bungie let it slip in during an update to allow some lucky players to get a taste of the expansion. Unlike older Sidearms in the game, this one is actually worth firing. It’s deadly accurate, has increased damage, fires in bursts, and is quick on the draw. It is definitely a weapon to want.
