Red Dead Redemption follows the story of John Marston, a former outlaw forced away from his family by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The only way for Marston to return to his family, is to help the government track down his former outlaw allies. The game released back in 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, garnering critical praise across the board for its dramatic storytelling, fascinating characters and expansive open world. Red Dead Redemption also received multiple game of the year awards from many different outlets.
If you already own the game digitally on Xbox 36o, you can find the it in your “Ready to Install” section of the Xbox One home menu. If you own the game physically, you can just insert the disc into your Xbox One and install the data. To see a full list of backwards compatible titles, check out Major Nelson’s blog here.
