Firefighters in New Jersey spent their Tuesday night pulling a Pokemon GO player out of a tree. According to authorities, the woman was using the app to hunt Pokemon in a local cemetery, and then she was stuck in a tree. It’s unclear what in the world happened between these two events.
East Greenwich Township Fire and Rescue responded to her 911 call, bringing a much needed ladder to the rescue. “Well we’ve all heard of firemen rescuing cats in stuck in a tree,” East Greenwich Township Fire and Rescue posted to their Facebook page. “Tonight District 19 was dispatched to Eglington Cemetery for a Pokemon stuck in a tree, along with the person who was chasing it.”
“For all those out there playing Pokemon Go, take heed of all of the warnings and be careful not to put yourself into bad situations. Think about what you are doing and where you are going before you actually do it.”
This only continues the recent string of unfortunate Pokemon GO incidents, which range from players walking off cliffs to crashing into police cars to possibly wandering into minefields.
