First off, you’ll want to naturally get yourself some Pokemon with high CP straight from the wild, rather than having to do the work yourself. This can be done simply by having a higher trainer level. The higher your level, the more chance you are to find more powerful and rarer Pokemon in the wild. If you need a few tips on how to boost your level quickly, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Now that you’re picking up some higher CP Pokemon thanks to an increased trainer level, it’s time to boost them even further. One of the best ways you can boost your Pokemon’s CP is by evolving them if they’re able to do so. You’ll see the biggest jump in CP in your Pokemon by simply feeding them all the candy they need to take a new and improved form. Not only will they benefit from an increased CP, but they’ll also get a bit of a boost to their HP also.

Finally, in order to bring your Pokemon to an insane level of CP, you’re going to want to power them up. Powering up requires a bunch of Stardust and one candy for that Pokemon. Each time your power up your Pokemon, you’re essentially leveling them up meaning they’ll get a bunch of points added onto their CP level.

That’s all there is to getting high CP Pokemon in Pokemon GO. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Ultimate Pokemon GO Guide.
