In a blog post entitled “State of the Studio” on the company’s website, Remedy’s Head of Communications Thomas Puha wrote “an update on what’s next”, following the two months since the release of Quantum Break in April.

Puha explains that, with regards to the immediate future, Remedy will continue to support Quantum Break through regular updates and continued interaction with the game’s community.

More interestingly, however, Puha reveals that the studio has been split into two working groups, with one team “developing a brand new Remedy game with a new partner”, and the other team “working on an early concept, which will turn into another Remedy game sometime in the future”.

Don’t get your hopes up too quickly, however, as Puha states that the company will not be participating at either E3 or Gamescom this year, the former of which kicks off just next week.

Additionally, in a separate interview with Polygon, Puha admits that Remedy are not currently working on an Alan Wake game, so don’t expect Alan Wake 2 anytime soon.
