Yacht Club Games has decided to post a survey on their official Twitter account about their next game. On that survey fans can pick on a scale of one to five, which choices they like.

Some of those options do include expanding upon the Shovel Knight IP, such as a sequel for the game and a Shovel Knight and Shield Knight game. That game is described as a, “multiplayer-only side-scrolling platforming prequel where all levels are traversed cooperatively. Play the entire game with a friend, maybe even online!” The other Shovel Knight related game is Shovel Kart, which will be a racing game with Shovel Knight characters.
They do include other options such as Mega Man, Metroid, Mario, Zelda, Spelunky, Final Fantasy/Dragons Quest, Mario RPG, A Contra, and Landstalker/Solstice. They mention that any games worked on would have a retro style when it comes to the graphics similar to Shovel Knight, also this is just to get an idea of what fans want to see from the company. We’ve reached out for comment if this means that Yacht Club Games will be working on the existing IPs listed and they stated they would not be.
