World of Warcraft Player Reaches Level 100 Using Only Dance Pads

And he's got great socks.

For 5 days, 11 hours, 48 minutes, and 38 seconds, Twitch streamer Rudeism has danced across Azeroth, playing World of Warcraft with nothing but dance pads. To the tune of hundreds of cheering Twitch fans, that dancing beast hit the level 100 cap yesterday.

There aren’t many rules to Dancecraft, what Rudeism has named his WoW dance pad challenge. He uses two dance pads with specially mapped controls to grind through WoW levels, only allowing himself a single run through each dungeon. A keyboard and mouse can only be used to Alt+Tab or log out, and the only allowed macro is /dance.

Rudeism was full of appreciation as he neared that final *ding*, thanking his fans and shedding a bit of a tear: “I feel like we’ve made a great community of people, thank you so much.” You can watch the moment in the archived Twitch footage below, starting around 7:06.

After earning his level cap achievement, Rudeism proudly tosses his headphones to the ground and breaks into a happy dance. He eventually folds up the dance pads, takes off his “I loaf you” toast socks, and happily starts using a keyboard and mouse for the first time in ages.

We’re not sure if this is crazier than the WoW player who reached level 90 without leaving the Pandaren starting zone, but we’re feeling very appreciative of keyboards overall right now.

You can check out Rudeism and his other alternative controller challenges, including Guitar Hero Surgeon Simulator and Dance Pad Undertale, on his Twitch channel.
