Fallout 4’s Automatron adds more than just robot combat and some new crafting opportunities. It turns out that a new Holotape game was thrown into the mix as well. If you’re new to Fallout 4, the base game has five hidden Holotape games that can be played at Terminals or on your Pip-Boy.
Automatron throws in another that you can obtain during the story mission Headhunting (the same mission where you can obtain the Tesla Rifle). After defeating Ahab and obtaining Jezebel, start to head out. If you’re facing Ahab’s throne, you want to head left. head through the door and continue until you find yourself in a huge generator room with a desk and chair at the back. To the right of this room is a bed as well as another desk with a Terminal on it.
Access the terminal and you’ll find a brand new Holotape called Automatron. This is a twin-stick shooter with endless waves of robots for you to kill. It’s easy to get the hang of, and pretty fun.
It starts off simply, but the speed ramps up really quickly, adding a bit of challenge to getting a high score. Do you think you have what it takes? Hey, if you’re not having any luck killing the robots out in the Commonwealth, this is the next best thing.
