The Division’s first open beta is on its way, dropping as soon as next week.
PlayStation 4 and PC players will have access to the beta Feb. 19-21, and Xbox One players have exclusive early access starting Feb. 18. The Division open beta preload will be open to everyone on Feb. 16.
According to Ubisoft, the team “has closed many of the PC cheating vunerabilities discovered during the closed beta, and has resolutions identified for the remaining PC cheating issues, which will be included in time for launch.” The developers will also be watching the open beta closely for any more issues.
Returning players will lose their progress from the previous closed beta, but participants in the open beta get to try out a new story mission and will unlock an in-game reward in the full game.
The Division is set to release March 8, after which the developers will be releasing free content over the year. The game is also getting a season pass, which will unlock 3 expansions.
