Just ahead of the CW’s Dawn of the Justice League special tonight, an image has surfaced giving us our first glimpse at the team of heroes in DC’s big upcoming superhero film. The special airs tonight at 8:30 PM Central, and is titled “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League!”
Yesterday Kevin Smith, who will be hosting the program, gave us some hints about what will be presented tonight. We’re expected to see a new Suicide Squad trailer, footage for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and even a look at the Wonder Woman movie. The new image surfaced on Twitter (via Comicbook.com) earlier today and has since been confirmed by Warner Brothers to the website that the image is authentic.
From left to right we see Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Ezra Miller’s Flash. While it is only concept art, it definitely makes it all the more likely that we’ll see some big information come out of the DC special tonight.
The Justice League movie will be split into two parts, with the first part slated for release on November 17, 2017 and the second part on June 14, 2019. Batman v Superman is the first movie of the pack to hit this year on March 25.
What do you think about the look of the Justice League? Anything you’d want to change right now? Let us know if you’re looking forward to the Justice League movie down in the comments.
